The Dance

The dance had begun, the dance of Union
Of joining heart and mind
Of body and soul
Of beauty and love
Of darkness and light
Of death and re-birth
Of doing and beingness
Of giving and receiving
Of the dance and the dancer 
Of the music and its melody
Of separateness and Oneness
Of the Yin and Yang
Of the Heaven and Earth
For we have awakened, for we remember 
And in this remembrance 
I found myself and the Universe, all combined into One 
And we danced the dance of Union, of Shiva and Shakti
And of all the Gods and Goddess
And once again became all that is, all that was and all that will be
